• LABOR RELATIONS

Clients rely on Cast & Crew Labor Relations for our collective-bargaining expertise, exceptional client service and industry experience. We are passionate about our work, and clients can expect a synergistic alliance that identifies issues quickly and resolves them immediately.

We are experts at administering all Above-The-Line and Below-The-Line contracts. We ensure that all employees are paid in accordance with their respective collective bargaining agreements.

You’ll also find that we are real team players who roll up our sleeves and work cooperatively with everyone involved in a project’s life cycle, including production, business affairs, finance, legal and additional project stakeholders, as well as union and guild staff and business agents.

For more than 40 years, we have developed and maintained constructive relationships with industry unions, guilds and trust funds. All applicable unions, guilds and trust fund payments and reporting are fully accommodated.

Clients required to make contributions to benefit funds—such as the Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans, the IATSE National Benefit Fund, 401k Plan, SAG/AFTRA Plan—may find themselves subject to audits. We provide expert guidance throughout the audit process, including audit research, analysis of audit findings and negotiating settlement offers, if necessary. Our audit support team is committed to helping our clients resolve audits equitably and efficiently.

We utilize a strong grasp of the broad regulatory landscape to provide compliance guidance on the increasingly complicated web of federal, state and local regulations and standards, including paid sick leave, commuter benefits and paid family leave benefits. We also track labor and employment law developments and emerging trends in the features, television, commercials and live events industries in order to provide the up-to-date news and resource materials our clients have come to expect.
