Wage Theft Prevention in D.C.

Effective Feb. 26, 2015, employers in the District of Colombia are required to comply with The Wage Theft Prevention Amendment Act of 2014. The Act seeks to enforce wage payment and collection laws by increasing the accountability of employers and strengthening worker protection laws.
