CONNECTICUT OCTOBER 9, 2009 On October 5, 2009, Governor Rell signed a bill to further amend the newly amended state’s film production incentive program. The legislation expands eligibility for the film production credit on and after January 1, 2010, by making a production company eligible for the credit if it either (1) conducts at least 50% of its principal photography days in Connecticut, or (2) spends at least 50% of a film's post-production costs in the state.
