PUERTO RICO PROPOSED LEGISLATION (Still in the House or Senate) November 30, 2010 The Bill introduced which would expand the current 40% production tax credit to include payments to nonresident talent at a reduced rate of 20% and increase the annual cap from $15 million to $50 million has passed the House and Senate and is now in a Conference Committee that will take it up in the January 2011 session.
