April 30, 2011 PROPOSED LEGISLATION (Still in the House or Senate) NEVADA (A 506) Under the proposed incentive program, qualifying productions would be eligible to earn a transferable tax credit equal to 25% of all eligible spend. Both resident and nonresident labor will qualify for the incentive and an additional 5% is earned on resident labor. In addition to the minimum spend requirement of $250,000 for a film or television project, or $100,000 or more for a commercial; the production must film, shoot, tape or record at least 60% of the film production in Nevada.
