A bill reviewed last month expanding New Jersey's film and digital media production tax credit programs is awaiting the Governor's signature.  The new program would increase the statewide cap on the film program from $10 million to $50 million per fiscal year and increase the digital media fund from $5 million to $10 million per fiscal year. Additionally, the tax credit rate would rise from 20% to 22% of qualified spend if the expenses represent purchases of goods from businesses located in Urban Enterprise Zones (UEZ) or purchases of services performed by residents of a UEZ.
