MISSISSIPPI (H 1108 / S 2916) PROPOSED LEGISLATION (Still in the House or Senate) January 31, 2011 Representative Peranich and Senators Kirby and Chassaniol have introduced a bill increasing the incentive on local spend and the first $1 million of nonresident labor from 20% to 25%. In addition, the rebate on the 1st $1 million of resident labor subject to Mississippi withholding would increase from 25% to 30%.
